Joshua Rattin
Preacher
|
Josh Rattin was born and raised in New Hampshire, the son of a Godly Baptist pastor and pastor’s wife. He is passionate for God’s glory and yearns to be used to God’s glory in whatever way God may ask. He married his wife Abby in 2002 and they together have a sense of calling to the foreign mission field. They are at this time completing training to equip them for the mission field within the next several years. They have also long had a heart for adoption as an image of God’s grace in our lives (Galatians 4:4-7). So in keeping with this calling and their calling to the children in sub-Saharan Africa, they rejoiced to adopt beautiful Liberian 3 year old Gracie into their family in 2006. Josh serves as an assistant pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Hollis, NH under his father’s leadership. He also enjoys the privilege of studying at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary extension campus in Northboro, MA.

Andrew Murray
Preacher |
My name is Andrew Murray.
I was born to Cynthia and Loren Murray. I am the youngest of four children. My father was the pastor of Fellowship bible Church in Chester, NH. When I was six I made a confession of faith. However, it was not until I was twelve that my heart showed evidence of true conversion.
The turning point occurred when my father died in a car accident. This has been the greatest sorrow of my heart, but wonderfully has also brought the greatest blessing of my life. I was struck with fear and doubt looking at the eternity into which my father had stepped. Did I know the God I claimed to know? Could I say with confidence that I was a child of the King of the Universe? It was during the months following the accident that I began to look seriously at my own desperate wickedness and need and into the Scriptures for hope. And there was Jesus. He was there drawing my rebellious heart to Himself, softening my stiff neck, welcoming His child.
It took my father's death to shake me into spiritual consciousness. I thank God that He has done it. "Behind a frowning providence there hides a smiling face." Oh, that I would always rejoice in the works of the Lord, even when they are painful.
In 2006 I graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University in a B.S. in Bible, having majored in Pre-Seminary. I was married that summer to a fellow graduate of PBU, my beloved, Elizabeth Michelle. We are expecting our first child in September and our plan is to spend the next few years working hard to pay off our school debt and look, thank, and pray hard about where God would have us serve Him in the future.
